Distribution: Suleman range, Murdar, Takhatu, Zarghun, Kaliphat, North and south Waziristan and parachinar.
Habitat: It is typically associated with steppe mountain conditions & region of meager erratic rainfall, from 2000 feet upto 12000 feet in the Himalayas.
Feed: Grasses, leaves & twigs of bushes, acorn of Holly oad forbs.
Breeding season: October in southern parts and December in North Himalayas.
Litter Size: Twins rarely Triplets.
Gestation Period: 135 days
age of Maturity: 30 months for female, 3 1/2 years for male.
Predators: Himalayan lynx, snow Leopard, Golden eagle.
Life span: 18 years
