Habitat	Northern Hunza, Dir, Swat, Kohistan. It inhabits inner Himalayan ranges where both snow fall and rain-fall is scant. In summer it ranges upto the highest alpine meadows upto 17000 feet and descend to 5000 feet in winter.
Feed	Ibex, Markhor, Marmots, Cape Hare, Pikas, Snow cocks domestic livestock, goats, sheeps.
Breeding Season	December to February
Litter Size	2- 3 Cubs
