Habitat
|
It is very adaptable animal, it seems to be
able to exist in extensive sand areas down
to sea level as well as dunes in stony plateaus and low hilly regions upto 5000 feet
elevation.

|
Browses green twigs, bushes, forbes, grasses,
succulent stems, crop of ripe seeds (brassica)

End of the monsoon to early Oct. and again
from March to April.
